Sydneysider Isabella from Ryde this morning dug up the biggest prize in Australian radio history, winning a million dollars after locating the one precious buried bag out of 250 at Bondi Beach.

Shocked hosts Jackie O and Kyle Sandilands (down the line from LA) couldn’t believe it when Isabella opened her chosen bag with the word ‘winner’ inside.
Isabella dug with her hands and a shovel from an area of sand at Bondi and found five out of 250 buried bags. She was given the opportunity to look inside two of the bags and the first one she opened miraculously contained the one and only prize that lay beneath the sand – a million dollars.
The win was thanks to 2Day FM’s Kyle & Jackie O Show and Hoyts Distribution in a promotion to celebrate the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 which hits Australian cinemas next Thursday 17 November.
Isabella was chosen from over 10,000 entries nationally on The Kyle ;& Jackie O Show to attempt the odd defying dig this morning at Bondi, and unbelievably took home the million.
Isabella screamed, “We won! (To Husband) ‘You said when you win let me know… I’M LETTING YOU KNOW!!!”
Husband John, “I’m in shock this is unbelievable, absolutely life changing. I didn’t think she had a chance when she entered to even get selected… but she had faith, she had a feeling.”
Isabella, “I’ve always said to John from the second we brought our house, we’ve got a massive mortgage on it, I always said this home is so special to me because it’s our first home together and I never want to let it go. He said win the million and we can keep it, and I get to keep the house that we started as husband and wife together so I’m just thrilled, we’ve been married for three and a half years we’ve been together 11.”
