The Hot30 Countdown keeps getting bigger and better and with the unification of Southern Cross Austereo media channels can now reach 95% of Australians thanks to broadcast additions on the company’s regional radio offerings plus morphing into its very own television show on Southern Cross Ten.
Launching 5 September 2011, vibrant Hot30 hosts Matty Acton & Maude Garrett will be heard on the new Today Network regional radio offerings, further to the duo’s successful metro market broadcasts from 7.30 – 10pm weekdays.
The newly created Hot30 Countdown TV is then set for a weekly show 10am-12pm Saturday’s and 9am – 12pm Sundays, kicking off on 10 September. Reflecting the radio concept, the visual version will showcase the best music videos plus celebrity guests with filming already underway at fun locations Warner Brothers Movie World, Sea World and Wet & Wild.
The Hot30 is at the forefront of pop culture and pioneers all that is cool and credible to youth around the nation. Already listened to by over a million Australians in major capital cities and the number one FM night show in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, the show looks set to gain over 275,000 additional pairs of ears nightly in regional areas plus 80,000 viewers for the television offering.
