Austereo takes pride of place on BRW’s ‘best places to work’ list

Austereo has for the second year in a row taken pride of place on BRW’s prestigious Best Places to Work list which is a definitive catalogue of the 50 best employers nationally.

Austereo is a successful media business and commends itself on being first in entertainment media solutions.  It is the home of national Today and Triple M radio and online networks and home to national stars such as Kyle & Jackie O, Fifi & Jules and Hamish & Andy.

Austereo is the only entertainment entity to feature on BRW’s overall list and additionally rates a prestigious #5 in the Most Respectful Companies alongside the likes of Google.

The Most Respectful Companies ranking measures the extent to which employees feel respected by management by assessing the levels of support, collaboration and caring that employees experience through management’s actions toward them.

With combined radio studios and corporate offices, the company offers an integrated entertainment and business environment,  balancing hard work with play, offering professional development and mentoring in an appealing culture that rewards new ideas and results.  Austereo received a remarkable 19,100 applications for employment last year.

Austereo Director of Metro Radio, Guy Dobson said: “We’re very proud to be placed in the BRW’s top 50 Best Places to work for a second year in a row.  In particular scoring #5 on the Most Respectful Companies is a reflection of the culture we endeavour to maintain.
“This is a remarkable achievement for Austereo and we continually strive to be the best at what we do. We believe the workplace we create not only delivers strong business results for our shareholders but provides a challenging and fun environment where people are engaged and feel valued.”
